Frequently Asked Questions

What Size Dumpster Do I Need?

For most jobs, there is no set rule of thumb to determine the size of the container you will need. If you are not sure please call us (407) 647-2002.

If you are doing a roofing tear-off, however, you can make a fairly accurate estimate using the following formula. This formula does not take into account any other trash or decking.

  1. Take the number of square of roofing to be torn off: Example, 30 Squares
  2. Multiply by the number of layers: x 2 Layers
  3. Equals TOTAL number of Squares: 60 Squares
  4. Divide Total Squares by 4: / 4 sq. c.y.
  5. Equals approximate number of cubic yards needed: 15 c.y.
What is a Cubic Yard?

A cubic yard is the area within a 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft cube. One cubic yard of dumpster space equals approximately 200 gallons of material.

What Items Cannot Be Put In a Dumpster?

We DO NOT Accept:

  • Tires
  • Mattresses
  • Liquids

How Can I Fill My Dumpster?

To the top! You can fill the dumpster completely full, but the material must not exceed the top edge of the dumpster. We must be able to safely tarp the container and insure that no material will fly out of the container when hauled away.

Where Can I Place the Dumpster?

Placement can depend on a lot of things depending on what you are using the dumpster for.  Commercial worksite options will vary from residential options.

For residential worksites, the driveway* is usually the best place.  Dumpsters place in roadways typically require a special permit from your city or county.

Our team will work with you to find the perfect spot!

*Please note that we are not responsible for any damage to driveways.

Does Anyone Need to be There for Placement of the Dumpster?

Not usually.  Just tell us where to put it and we’ll take care of it!

There are however some circumstances, such street placement or other special situations that may require someone to be present.  We will let you know when you place your order.

How Much Does it Cost to Rent a Dumpster?

The cost of renting a dumpster varies by 3 main factors:

  • Your location
  • Type of material you are disposing of
  • Size of the dumpster.

Different types of material have different weights and disposal options which affect the price. To ensure that you receive the most accurate price for your job, call us at (407) 647-2002 or Get A Quote.
